Hello, my name is Gordon Bellows. I’ll tell you a bit about myself in a moment, but first, I want to tell you about the purpose of this blog.

Why was this Blog Created?
I saw it as a chance to share tips and information that might be of benefit to people with a home business and people wanting to start one.
In addition to my own posts, articles from various authors will be included. Those articles each have a resource box that tells you a little bit about the author.
I sincerely hope that every visitor will find something useful in the tips and information contained in these posts.
That’s the way life should be - sharing what we know and helping each other out whenever we can.

I know all too well what it’s like to struggle trying to make dreams and desires a reality.
I also know what it’s like to taste success.
One of my overall objectives is to help people make the transition from struggle to success shorter and less painful.
Since I think it’s best to be honest and straightforward, I’ll admit that I have an ulterior motive in addition to my desire to help people.
As you can probably guess, this blog is a great way to introduce others to my favorite income opportunities.
A number of people will join me because they feel it’s a “good fit” for them.
It is my heartfelt desire that even the people who decide not to join me can still benefit from the quotes, the information and the tips.
It would be great if everyone who really wanted a home business could experience the following for themselves…

Okay, here’s the “about me” part. I am the host and admin guy for this blog.
At first, I hesitated writing about myself. I decided to do it when some friends said the blog visitors deserved to know more about the person behind it.
I’m not a guru or an expert of any kind; just somebody who has “been there, done that” when it comes to various income opportunities and home-based businesses. All in all, I learned a lot from trial and error as well as the school of hard knocks.
During a period of several years, I was involved with more part-time endeavors than I can possibly recall. Some of them were good and some were nothing but torture of one form or another.
In 2002, I left the corporate world of dress shirts and ties, staff meetings, long commutes, and 10 to 12 hour workdays to work full-time on my home business activities.
When I was a full-fledged member of the rat race, I was a buyer and purchasing supervisor for many years. After a career change, I was an economic trends analyst at a research institute. I enjoyed those jobs, but I wanted more!
By the way, studying economic trends is not the dull, boring work that it might sound like.
I earned a decent salary and I received recognition for my work, but I wanted a higher level of personal satisfaction as well as personal and financial freedom.
I knew that the kind of lifestyle I wanted was far more likely to happen if I had the right kind of home business and was working for myself instead of working for someone else.
